ORNAMENTO. A TRIBUTE TO MY SISTER

This green ornamental object, of which is the focus of the video, was a gift received from my sister many years ago. Never having the courage nor desire to wear it, because I found it relentlessly ugly, I kept it and it has become of mere sentimental value. Throwing it away would be disrespectful to her in some sense, as the object now carries emotional weight. In order to cherish it, this video serves to transform this sentimental object into an everlasting and endless attempts at wearing it. In trying to wear this ornamental object, in several variations, and
to give it importance, what is revealed is a sense of guilt combined with resistance. An attempt at reconciliation. Perhaps in vain.
